RED DEVILS FOOD CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. cocoa
2 eggs
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Salt
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. hot water
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Cream sugar, shortening and cocoa. Add 2 beaten eggs, milk, vanilla, salt and flour. Last add hot water and soda. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
