2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 eggs
2 sticks butter
1 c. buttermilk
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Sift together flour, sugar and soda. Heat butter, cocoa, and water until almost boiling. Add to first mixture. Add eggs, vanilla and buttermilk. Beat well. Pour into greased pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
