BUFFET CASSEROLE 
8 oz. pkg. wide noodles
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. butter
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 c. cottage cheese
1/4 c. sour cream
1/3 c. chopped green onions
1 tbsp. chopped green pepper

Boil noodles in salted water 10 minutes. Drain and set aside. Brown ground beef in butter; add tomato sauce and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat.

Mix together cream cheese (room temperature), cottage cheese (room temperature), sour cream, onions, and peppers. Put half of drained noodles in a greased oblong baking dish. Spread all of cheese mixture on top of noodles. Add remaining noodles. Top with ground beef mixture. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 10-12.
