GREEN ENCHILADA PIE 
2 lb. ground beef (I prefer 2 1/2 c. (approx.) boiled cut up chicken meat
1 med. onion, chopped
1 can green chili peppers
1 c. taco sauce
1 can enchilada sauce (mild, hot is definitely for the "Big Boys")
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. tortillas
2 c. grated cheese
(I add 2 tbsp. chili powder too!)

Brown beef and onion together. Add chicken and mushroom soups, sauces and green chili peppers. Heat thoroughly. Cut tortillas in fourths, lightly butter one side and layer in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Start with a layer of tortillas, layer of meat, ending with cheese. Heat in oven at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
