FRIENDSHIP CAKE 
From sour dough starter.

1 - 1 1/2 c. starter
2/3 c. oil
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 - 1 c. desired fruits (see note)
1/2 - 1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Icing (opt.)

Combine all ingredients and pour into a greased bundt pan or ring mold and bake in 350 degree oven 40 to 50 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick in center comes out clean.

ICING: You can add this icing before baking and it will sink to the bottom of the bundt or ring mold and be on top of the cake when it is turned out of the pan. An option is to drizzle it on the cake after baking for a caramelized glaze. Combine 1/2 cup butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1 tablespoon flour in a small saucepan. Heat until boiling and pour over cake.
