1/2 c. half & half
1/2 to 2/3 c. sugar

Mix well. When sugar is dissolved, add 1/4 cup vinegar, a dash of salt may be added but remember this tends to wilt the cabbage. Cabbage slaw will keep 2 to 3 days if you don't add salt.
