CRUSTY, BEEF, CHEESE, AND NOODLE
CASSEROLE
 
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
2 lbs. ground beef
4 (10 1/4 oz.) cans meatless mushroom sauce (for spaghetti)
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. fine noodles, cooked and drained
1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated or shredded
Salt to taste

Heat oil and add onion and cook until golden. Add the meat and cook until it loses its red color. Add mushroom sauce and salt; beat. Arrange in casserole, half of noodles, half sauce, and half cheese. Sprinkle with seasoning salt. Make another layer of noodles, sauce, and cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour; top should be nicely browned. 8 to 10 servings.
