1 c. flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. quick rolled oats
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 c. butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. mashed bananas (about 3 med.)
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped peanuts
Peanut butter or chocolate frosting
Assorted decorations: M&M'S®, chocolate chips, candy corn, etc.

Stir together flours, oats, baking soda and cinnamon; set aside. Beat butter on medium speed until softened; add sugars; beat until fluffy. Add bananas, egg and vanilla; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture and beat until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips and peanuts.

For each cookie: Drop 1/4 cup dough onto greased cookie sheet. Spread dough into 3 inch circles; space cookies 3 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until cookies are firm in center. Cool cookies for 1 minute. Remove from sheet and cool completely. Frost cookies and decorate to make faces.
