SCOTCH SHORTBREAD 
2 c. flour
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 lb. butter

Cut butter into flour until crumbly. Add sugar, mix well. Pack hard into 9- inch round or square cake pan. Perforate with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes until edges are light brown.

To make small bars, put on cookie sheet or square pan and cut with sharp knife while warm.
