ROAST CHICKEN 
3 lb. whole broiler or fryer
Garlic powder
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Salt and pepper
Dried or fresh tarragon

Place chicken in flat baking dish. Lightly sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, tarragon and lemon juice, inside and out. Bake for 1 hour in 400 degree oven (don't baste or look). Cook 10 minutes longer for larger chicken.
