VIDALIA ONION WITH SAUSAGE
STUFFING
 
3 lg. Vidalia onions
1 c. chopped sweet vidalia onions
3 c. Herb stuffing mix
1 lb. bulk mild pork sausage
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 1/4 c. water

Place 3 split and cored onions in a greased dish. Cook chopped onions and sausage in a frying pan until brown. Drain. Add water and soup to pan and cook until soup is melted. Add stuffing mix and mix well. Add mixture inside 3 split onions. Use pan large enough to hold onions without touching.

Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. You may put strips of cheese on top if you like and sprinkle with paprika. Keep warm until cheese is melted.
