GOB CAKE | |
1 box chocolate cake mix 1/4 c. oil 1 box (4 serving size) instant chocolate pudding Eggs & water according to cake mix directions Divide the batter and spread in two cookie sheets, one of them having waxed paper lining it. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. FILLING: 2 egg whites 3/4 c. evaporated milk 3/4 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 3/4 c. Crisco 2 tsp. vanilla Beat egg whites until stiff. Add hot milk and sugar together. Keep beating until sugar is dissolved. Add butter, shortening and vanilla. Beat until stiff. After cake cools, place filling on top of cake without wax paper. Then turn the other cake upside down over cake and filling. Peel off the wax paper. |
