LENTIL SOUP 
1 sm. pkg. lentils
2 c. celery
3 carrots, sliced (about 2 c.)
1 med. onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
2-4 bay leaves
4-6 whole cloves
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/3 c. molasses
1 lg. can tomatoes
1 lb. pork sausage or Polish Kielbasa

Cook lentils a little before adding vegetables and spices. Add tomatoes a few minutes before done. Brown sausage if using bulk sausage; drain and add to soup. If using the Polish Kielbasa type sausage, slice and add to soup heating until sausage is hot.
