COLESLAW 
8 c. shredded cabbage
2 carrots, shredded
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 green pepper (diced)
3/4 c. cold water
1 envelope plain gelatin
2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. pepper
2/3 c. salad oil

Mix cabbage, carrots, onion, green pepper, and 1/2 cup water. Dissolve gelatin in 1/4 cup water. Mix sugar, vinegar, celery seed, salt and pepper together. Bring to a boil, stir in gelatin and cool. Add salad oil and beat well. Pour dressing onto cabbage mixture. Refrigerate.
