Peel and grind together (measure after grinding) : 1 qt. onions 1 or more hot peppers 6 lg. bell peppers (some red for color) 8 lg. dill pickles Boil together for 10 or 15 minutes and drain (not too dry). Salt to taste. Mix together and with above: 4 tsp. flour 4 1/2 tsp. mustard 1 tsp. turmeric 3 c. vinegar Cook together until it has thickened (it does not get real thick). Seal in hot sterile jars. |
