HAMBURGER PIE 
1 lb. hamburger
1/4 c. water
1 env. beefy mushroom soup mix
1 egg
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. onions, chopped fine (optional)
1/2 c. green peppers, chopped fine (optional)
2-3 c. hot mashed potatoes
Shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In medium bowl, combine soup mix and water. Add hamburger, egg, bread crumbs, ketchup. Add onions and green peppers if desired. Mix well and press into 9" pie pan. Bake 35 minutes or until done; drain if needed. Top with hot potatoes and sprinkle with cheese. Bake an additional 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
