MOM'S NUT CAKE 
1 box seedless raisins
1 qt. chopped pecans
3 C flour
2 sticks butter
2 C sugar
5 eggs
Vanilla flavoring to taste

In separate bowl, mix flour, nuts and raisins. Cream butter, sugar, and the eggs, mixing well. Add to dry ingredients. Add vanilla to taste. Batter will be stiff.

Bake at 350°F in tube cake pan for 1 hour 15 minutes or until done.

Note: You may omit raisins and add more nuts, if you like.
