BANANA NUT CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
1 1/2 c. plain flour (not self-rising)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
dash of salt
4 tbsp. sour milk
1 c. nuts

Preheat oven to 375°F. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add bananas and nuts alternately with flour, soda, milk and flavoring, mixing well with each addition.

Bake in 9 x 9 pan or 2 small loaf pans until done in center.
