2 sticks butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 lg. bananas
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add buttermilk and vanilla. Add flour, mixed with soda, alternately with mashed bananas and nuts. Bake in a large tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
