FRUIT CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 can coconut
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. red cherries
1/2 c. green cherries
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. white raisins
4 c. nuts
6 eggs
1 c. dates
1 c. pineapple

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks. Dredge fruit with flour and add to mixture. Beat egg whites until stiff and add to mixture. Mix well. Pour in tube pan.

Bake at 275°F for 2 hours. Cool in pan.
