PASTIES 
Pie crust (use your favorite recipe or buy ready-made)
Potatoes
Beef steak
Pork steak
Onions
Rutabaga turnip
Butter
Milk

Cut potatoes and steak thin. Chop or cut very thin onion and rutabaga turnip. Use very little turnip or pasty will have bitter taste. Fill half of pie crust with mixture (go heavy on meat and potatoes - light on onions). Dot with butter. Close with unfilled half by folding it over. Each pie tin should have 2 pasties. Dry hamburger can be substituted. Each pie crust makes 1 pasty.
