10-12 potatoes 1 lg. onion 1 1/2 lbs. ground round 1 lg. rutabaga Salt and pepper Dice vegetables; drain well. PIE DOUGH: 3 qts. flour Salt 2 c. lard 2 c. water Make pie dough. Mix well. Divide into 8 or 12 pieces. Roll out to the size of a plate; add 1 1/2 cups of mixture. Fold over; pinch edges well. Place on greased cookie sheet. Slit top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Butter tops when done. Let set 10 minutes, then serve. Yield: 8-12 pasties. |
