MOM'S LASAGNA 
1 1/2 lbs. ground turkey (or beef)
1/4 c. minced dried onions
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. basil leaves
24 oz. creamed cottage cheese
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. oregano
8 oz. lasagna noodles, cooked & well drained
3/4 lb. shredded Mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Cook ground turkey, drain. Add dried onions, garlic powder, tomatoes, tomato sauce, parsley, sugar, salt, and basil. Break up tomatoes with fork. Cook 1 hour over low heat until the consistency of spaghetti sauce. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley flakes, salt and oregano. In ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan, spoon 1/2 cup of sauce. Layer 1/4 each of noodles, sauce, Mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese. Reserve 1/2 cup of sauce for spreading over top. Repeat layering 3 times, spread with reserved sauce. Sprinkle with last 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Bake 45 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes before cutting.
