Thanks for recipe. Just made this as a Bundt cake. I added chocolate chips and made a lemon glaze to put on top, it's delicious. The recipe does not mention how long to cook this cake but it took an hour to bake. If using a bunt pan make sure to butter it and sift flour on entire pan getting rid of excess or it will be difficult to remove cake from pan.

Just made this cake... the first cake I have ever made that was not out of a box. I know nothing about baking. I forgot to grease the pan... thought nonstick means it doesn't need grease lol. anyhow. This cake tastes like angle food cake. tasty but not what I am used to.

Mother's day here I come! This last minute recipe calls for everything that most people have... I tried with out lemon extract because nobody in my family likes lemon cake but seriously it's so easy and simple but delicious.

I am going to try the recipe for my little ones bday. Are there any recommendations on minimizing sugar by substitutions like apple sauce?

Great recipe! I substituted powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar in place of sugar and it turned out great! I also added Butterfinger baking bits and topped with Hershey's chocolate icing. My first cake from scratch and it was so easy! Ty !

The cake is great. I think I baked it too long, because it is kind of hard. But the cake has a great lemon flavor.

I tried this recipe to a T, however the outside was done and a little crispy the toothpick came out clean but when I cut the cake it wasn't completely done, if I let it cook any longer it would have burned... Any suggestions?
