WASSAIL BOWL 
2 qt. apple cider
1 pt. cranberry juice
1/4 c. sugar (or less to taste)
1 tsp. aromatic bitters
2 sticks cinnamon
1 tsp. whole allspice (strained off later)
1 sm. orange studded with whole cloves

Simmer on back burner, covered, for up to 4 days. Serve warm. Replenish with juice as used.
