SCALLOPED POTATOES 
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 c. milk
6 med. potatoes, pared and thinly sliced (6 c.)
2 tbsp. chopped onion

Make white sauce of first 5 ingredients. Place half of potatoes in greased 2- quart casserole; cover with half of onion and half of sauce. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer. 6 servings.
