1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 stick butter
1 can Hershey syrup
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts

Mix first 7 ingredients until smooth. Add nuts, if desired. Pour into greased 10 x 15 cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour or until center is not depressed when touched. Cool and frost.

FROSTING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. milk
4 tbsp. butter
2/3 c. chocolate chips

Mix first 3 ingredients. Bring to boil. Boil (stirring occasionally) for 30 seconds. Remove from heat. Beat in chocolate chips. Beat until spreading consistency (one-two minute). Spread over brownies.
