CREEPING CRUST COBBLER | |
1/2 cup butter 1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 cup milk 2 cups fruit - blackberry, raspberries, peaches - cut up or apricots Melt butter in a 10-inch baking dish. Mix flour, sugar and baking powder. Stir in milk. Spoon over melted butter. Heat fresh or canned fruit with sugar - adjusting less sugar for canned fruit. Pour over dough. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes or until crush is golden brown. Crust will rise to the top. Serve warm or cold. |
