ANGEL SQUARES 
6 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/3 c. granulated sugar
20 cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies, such as Oreo or Hydrox, crushed
1 c. chopped pecans
Whipped cream for garnish

In a mixing bowl, with an electric mixer, beat egg whites until stiff. Beat in salt, baking powder and sugar. Fold in crushed cookies and pecans. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes.

Cut into squares. Garnish with whipped cream to hide any crumbly cuts. Makes 2 dozen cookies.
