CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS | |
1 pkg. Betty Crocker cherry fudge cake mix 1 tsp. almond extract 1 can cherry pie filling 2 eggs, beaten FROSTING: 1 c. sugar 6 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. almond extract 6 tbsp. milk 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips Mix first four ingredients by hand. Pour into jelly roll pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Add frosting as follows: Mix and boil the sugar, milk and butter for 1 1/2 minutes. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, vanilla and almond extract. Stir until spreading consistency. Spread over bars. |
