HOT FUDGE PUDDING CAKE 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. shortening
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. cocoa
1 3/4 c. hot water

In mixing bowl, mix flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, shortening, and nuts. Pour into ungreased square 9 inch pan. Stir together brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa. Sprinkle over batter. Pour hot water over batter. Bake 45 minutes in a 350 degree oven. While hot, cut into squares. Invert onto dessert plates and spoon sauce over each. Top with whip cream if you like.
