1 lb. powdered sugar (3 1/2 to 4 c.)
1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Combine all ingredients except nuts in top of double boiler. Place over hot water and stir until smooth. Add nuts and spread candy in buttered 9 x 5 inch pan. Cool and cut in squares.
