RASPBERRY BARS 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped
1 c. butter, softened
1 egg
1 (10 oz.) jar seedless raspberry preserves

Grease 9 inch square baking dish. Combine flour, sugar, nuts, butter, and egg in mixing bowl. Beat at low speed until mixture is crumbly. Set aside 1 1/2 cups of mixture. Press remaining mixture into baking dish. Spread preserves to within 1/2 inch of edges. Crumble remaining mixture over preserves. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely before cutting into bars. Makes 2 dozen.
