CHERRY ORANGE CHICKEN 
2 (2-3 lb.) fryers, cut up
4 tbsp. butter, melted
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. orange peel
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 c. orange juice
1 (1 lb.) can dark sweet cherries, drained

Place cut up chicken in baking pan. Pour melted butter over chicken. Combine brown sugar, orange peel, ginger and orange juice. Pour over chicken. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Remove and add cherries. Return to oven and bake 30 minutes or until chicken is tender and golden brown. Yield: 8 servings.
