MIDWEST BRAN MUFFINS 
1 c. Crisco, melted
3 c. sugar
1 qt. buttermilk
4 eggs
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
4 c. All Bran (Kellogg's) cereal
2 c. boiling water added to 2 c. Bran Buds

Add Crisco to sugar and eggs and mix well. Add buttermilk, flour, and baking soda and stir. Add Bran Buds and water mixture and blend thoroughly. Then add All Bran.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Makes 4 to 6 dozen muffins. Mixture may be stored in refrigerator for 2 weeks.
