BROILED PARMESAN POTATOES 
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. dried basil, crushed
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 medium potatoes, bias cut 1/4 inch thick

Stir together butter, basil, paprika, garlic powder, and pepper. Place potato slices in a single layer on the unheated rack of a broiler pan or a cookie sheet. Brush butter mixture over both sides of potato slices. Broil 8 to 9 minutes or until potatoes begin to turn brown. Using a wide spatula, turn potatoes. Sprinkle with cheese. Broil for 4 to 6 minutes more or until potatoes are tender. Serves 4.
