AUNT PAT'S CHOCOLATE PECAN ICED
CAKE
 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa powder
1/2 c. Pet milk
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
2 baked yellow cake layers

In heavy pot, place all ingredients. Bring to a boil and boil 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour 1/2 of icing over first cake layer and sprinkle with chopped pecans (work quickly). Add second layer. Pour remaining icing and immediately place whole pecan halves on top.
