CORN CHOWDER 
1/2 c. minced onion
1/2 c. melted butter
1 (20 oz.) can cream style corn
1 c. half and half
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. diced ham
Cooked, crumbled bacon as garnish

Saute onion in butter. Add remaining ingredients and cook over low heat. Do not boil. Top each serving with bacon. NOTE: Recipe doubles nicely.
