TURKEY SAUSAGE | |
1 lb. ground turkey (or chicken) 1/4 c. bread crumbs 2 tbsp. chicken broth (bouillon is fine) 2 tbsp. minced onion (or 1 tbsp. dried onion flakes) 1 tbsp. dried parsley 1 tsp. vegetable oil 1/2 tsp. sage 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper (1/8 tsp. for a less spicy sausage) 1 lg. egg white 1. In medium size bowl, mix all ingredients except egg white by hand. 2. Gently beat egg white with a fork. Add to mixture and mix well with hands or wooden spoon. 3. Shape into 6 patties. May freeze with waxed paper separating patties. 4. Spray broiler pan with non-stick vegetable spray and broil patties 4-5 minutes until light brown. Turn and broil another 4-5 minutes until brown and cooked through. 6 servings. |
