QUICK PRETZEL RECIPE | |
1 pkg. yeast 9 tbsp. warm water 1 1/2 tsp. sugar 1 1/2 flour 2 tbsp. grated cheese (optional) Beaten egg Salt Take first 2 ingredients and stir until dissolved. Add sugar, flour, and grated cheese (optional). Mix and knead. Shape into letters, numbers, or pretzel shapes (we rolled our dough into snakes and then formed our initials.) Place on greased cookie sheet. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with salt. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown. |
