2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. applesauce
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts

Sift together flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. In another bowl, cream together sugar and butter and add egg. Combine all ingredients plus applesauce, baking soda, raisins and nuts together. Drop 1 tablespoon of cookie dough onto a baking sheet. Place in preheated 375 degree oven for about 12-15 minutes. Bake until golden brown.
