KILLER CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1 stick butter
1/2 c. vegetable oil
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda

Mix together in a bowl flour, sugar and salt. Mix water, butter, oil and cocoa in a sauce pan and cook over medium heat until boiling, stirring constantly. Add chocolate mix to flour mixture. Beat until well blended. Immediately add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Mix buttermilk and soda together, add to batter and mix only until blended. Pour batter into 10 x 9 x 1 1/2 inch pan that has been well greased. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Prick cake with fork while hot and pour hot icing over cake. Allow to cool, cut into squares.

ICING:

1 c. (2 sticks) butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 box (3 c.) powdered sugar
1/4 c. of milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans

Mix all ingredients in sauce pan and heat until boiling, stirring constantly. Pour while hot over cake.
