KARETHOPITA (WALNUT CAKE) WITH
GLAZE
 
1 c. walnuts, ground (I use 1 1/2 c.)
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Bisquick
1 c. white sugar
1 c. milk
1 c. oil
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda

GLAZE:

2 c. sugar
1 c. water
Slice fresh lemon
1/4 - 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown and springy, about 30 to 40 minutes. Cake may fall (it should)

GLAZE: Bring to boil, simmer 10 minutes, pour over cake.
