SHRIMP PILAU 
6 strips bacon
1 stick butter
2 lbs. raw peeled shrimp
Salt
Pepper
2 c. uncooked rice
3 lg. onions, chopped
4 c. boiling water
8-10 drops hot sauce

Cut bacon into small pieces, brown in heavy deep saucepan. Add butter and onions, brown. Add shrimp and cook until just barely pink. Add remaining ingredients, stir and cover pot with a tight lid. Cook until rice is done and all the liquid is absorbed.
