HASTY HOT DISH 
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
2 tbsp. instant minced onion
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme
10 1/2 oz. can tomato soup
1/2 c. sour cream
4 oz. can mushroom stems and pieces, undrained

Combine ground beef and onion in 2 1/2 quart casserole. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Drop biscuit dough by rounded teaspoonfuls around edge of casserole. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. 6 to 8 servings.

POTATO DROP BISCUITS:

1 c. flour
1 1/4 c. mashed potato flakes
1 egg
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cooking oil
3/4 c. milk

Mix together and drop around edge of casserole.
