VEGETABLE-BEEF SOUP 
2 soup bones
1 sm. head cabbage
3 parsnips
1/2 lb. green beans
2 cans tomatoes
1/2 gallon water
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. basil
Coarse pepper to taste

Boil soup bones for 1 hour. Add vegetables and boil for 45 minutes. Cabbage should be added 20 minutes later.
