HOMEMADE BREAD 
4 c. warm water
1 pkg. active dry yeast
4 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 to 4 lbs. flour
4 tbsp. oil

Dissolve yeast in 2 cups of water. Pour remaining water in 5 quart bowl. Add salt and sugar; mix until dissolved. Mix in oil. Add yeast mixture. Add flour, about 1/2 pound at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add enough flour to make stiff. Cover and let raise to top of bowl; punch down and raise again. Punch down and make 6 large loaves (2 per pan). Raise again. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
