1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. light brown sugar
3/4 c. peanut butter
1 lb. confectioners sugar

In medium pan, melt butter; stir in brown sugar and milk. Bring to a boil. Boil and stir 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Mix in confectioners sugar. Beat until smooth. Spread into buttered 9-inch square pan. Chill until firm. Cut into squares.
