CHILI SOUP | |
1 lb. hamburger 8 oz. spaghetti 1 small onion, minced 1 can tomato juice (46 oz.) 1 can tomato soup 2 cans tomato puree (10 3/4 oz.) 1 can chili beans 1/4 c. chili powder, more or less to taste Cook spaghetti, drain and rinse. While spaghetti is cooking, brown hamburger and onions until meat is well browned and onion is tender. Spoon off grease from hamburger. Mix together in large pot, cooked hamburger, tomato juice, tomato soup, tomato puree, and chili beans. Rinse cans with a small amount of water and add to chili mixture. Add chili powder and cooked spaghetti, let simmer 1/2 hour keep stirring. Don't forget to recycle your cans. |
