BUTTERMILK WHITE BREAD 
2 c. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. yeast
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda

2 c. water
4 tbsp. buttermilk powder
1/3 c. shortening

Add to flour mix. Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed. Add 1 cup flour and beat for another 2 minutes. Stir in 2-2 1/2 cups flour. Knead until smooth. Let raise. Punch down; form into loaves and raise again. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
